About Me

I’ve always been an artist at heart, experimenting with collage, writing, photography, and painting. This fuels my personal and professional sides. As a fine artist, composition and expression are key. As a designer, expression for a purpose, is key.

Early in my career as a designer I had my hands in every step of the design and production process. I learned intricacies about not just design, but the importance of file prep, various production methods and color output. This made me efficient. And as a production director, is has made me valuable. Quality matters whether the output is in print or digitally.

My eye for the smallest details and efficiency in photoshop have also made me an expert level retoucher. High standards for retouching are rooted in that knowledge of the print production process, and though currently the work is primarily digital, the standards don’t waver.

I currently oversee digital post-production and manage the workflow of taking images from raw to going live. I enjoy strategy sessions with the marketing team, as well as working with vendors, my retouching team, brand managers and merchandising teams. I’m a facilitator, project manager, director, and doer in one. And I like to think I keep things light and flexible, while still upholding high expectations. The work is fun when we let it be. And I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Review raw product images, art direct revisions/retouching personally and/or by directing retouching and color correction to staff.

Manage workflow of retouchers, freelancers, and retouching agencies - interview and coordinate hiring with HR


Analyze retouching costs to align with studio budget - reconcile and/or project retouching/outsourcing budgets to be sure they are in alignment.
